Position Overview

As a Technology Partner Manager, you are fiercely customer AND partner-centric, and have experience finding and recruiting strategic partners, comfortable working in an agile environment and can embrace change. You strive to work with best-of-breed technology, and you live for the thrill of reaching your targets both individually and as a team. Success in this role is guided by your ability to develop and grow the company's Partner ecosystem, finding, recruiting and managing Technology partners. You will develop deep internal and external relationships to drive partner success. You will inspire, empower, coach the Diligent Partner ecosystem to drive growth initiatives.

Responsibilities



  • Align Diligent's go-to-market strategy to key strategic partners
  • Execute annual partner plans in collaboration with technology partners
  • Source and maintain a pipeline of new technology partners
  • Build and maintain strong, productive partner relationships
  • Orchestrate partner engagements with the sales, marketing, product, professional services, and technology teams to deliver on partnership goals
  • Develop a professional working relationship with a partner prospect's decision makers
  • Build business cases and complete market evaluations to align partners with product initiatives with Diligent
  • Articulate the value of Diligent products and services in a compelling manner to partners in various industries and to various external audiences
  • Work with a cross functional team made up of Sales, Product Marketing, and Operations to ensure maximum revenue potential
  • Develop subject matter expertise on Diligent products and industry best practices to provide actionable recommendations to partners during contract negotiation
  • Occasional travel to meet with partners and to Diligent offices



What you need to succeed



  • 5+ years of relevant sales, business development or alliances experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proven success in directly managing technology partner relationships toward business outcomes
  • Strong business and financial acumen and an ability to forge creative solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across functional teams in support of partner success
  • Strong skills in multi-tasking, communications, negotiation, organization, and teamwork
  • Strong strategic selling/business development skills/ partner relationship management
  • Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with navigating a matrix organization to solve problems and influence stakeholders
