As a Senior PeopleSoft Programmer Analyst, you will be a member of our Enterprise Data Technology Management Team. This role will support the bank’s Financial/ GL systems. The Programmer Analyst will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting PeopleSoft Financials.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and evaluate systems and user needs in order to formulate PeopleSoft Financials solutions that address business strategies.
- Develop solution options, identify risks, and perform required analyses.
- Create detailed documentation of technical requirements, functions, and steps required to modify programs. Also assist in implementation of operational process improvements by insuring process documentation is current.
- Work with technical staff to troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues.
- Participate in General Ledger, Asset Management, and Accounts Payable configuration.
- Participate in analysis, development, test, and implementation of new configuration specifications.
- Assist with implementation activities.

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in software application development and maintenance with at least 2 years of programming experience with PeopleSoft Financials.
-Or-
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience in software application development and maintenance with at least 2 years of programming experience with PeopleSoft Financials.

Additional Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Financials experience, with experience from version 9.1 or beyond.
- 3+ years of experience with PeopleSoft modules including General Ledger, Asset Management, and Accounts Payables, preferably within a financial institution.
- 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst/Developer implementing, configuring, and support PeopleSoft Financials.
- Experience with at least PeopleTools version 8.5
- Experience with App Designer, App Engine, Integration Broker, Workflow, Process Scheduler
- Experince with Oracle and SQL.
- Strong understanding of table structures within PeopleSoft financials and where data is stored
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to develop/create basic reports using PS Query, SQR, BI Publisher (or nVision reports)
- Lead long-term application development, integration, upgrades, and maintenance strategies.
- Track, diagnose, replicate, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and technical issues.
- Design and develop interface programs.
- Assist with Application and Tool patches and upgrades.
- Experience analyzing, coding, testing, documenting, and installing projects of medium complexity.
- Working knowledge of System Life Cycle Development Methodology.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to perform tasks from multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with industry standard PC products. (Microsoft Office applications).
- Ability to provide 24-hour/7-days-per-week on-call support on a rotating basis.

Other Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science.
- Banking/financial services industry experience.
- Understanding of functional PeopleSoft Security hierarchy and setup (Role-level, Permission Lists, User Profiles, Field-level, etc.) across relevant modules.
