Job Description ASU, recognized for the last 9 consecutive years by US News and World Report as the most innovative university, is seeking a Lead AV Field Engineer to join the University’s Learning Experience (LX) group. Housed within ASU’s Enterprise Technology team, LX designs and maintains a wide inventory of technology-enhanced spaces that catalyze learning and innovation. The Lead AV Field Engineer occupies a central role in LX’s delivery of AV as a service to the University by coordinating a team that troubleshoots, repairs, installs, and monitors advanced technology environments in university spaces. These spaces include conference rooms, enclaves, classrooms, lecture halls, and auditoriums among others.
Salary Range $60,000 - $70,000 per year; DOE

Essential Duties
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or closely related field AND 6 years providing instructional technology diagnostic and trouble-shooting support in a client server, cross platform environment. OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Working Environment Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking; frequent physical demands may include stooping, bending, crawling under/around objects, working at height on ladders, reaching, lifting and pushing objects of varying weights up to and over 100 pounds.
